Rally Albania Concludes 22nd Edition, Promoting Albania Through Sport and Tourism

Rally Albania has concluded its 22nd edition after seven days of competition across the country, with organizers crowning winners in the main categories.
In the motorcycle category, Vojtech Sekanina wins the championship trophy. In the car category, Laverian Nurka and Mario Nikolli deliver strong performances. In the SSV category, Simon Piedboeuf and Marc Borguet take first place.
Over seven days, more than 190 competitors cover over 2,000 kilometers across Albania. They travel from north to south and pass through more than 150 villages during the race. They also complete stages that include stops in Tirana, Përmet, and Ksamil before returning to the capital for the final ceremony.
In addition, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports Blendi Gonxhja highlights the event’s wider impact. He says the rally promotes both sport and Albania’s tourism image.
He adds that a mobile community of more than 500 people travels across the country during the event. They interact directly with local communities and promote Albanian hospitality.
Furthermore, participants share photos, videos, and social media content that promote Albania’s landscapes, culture, and traditions to audiences across Europe and beyond.
Rally Albania is organized by the Albanian Motorcycle Federation with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports. Organizers describe it as both a motorsport competition and a strong ambassador of Albania’s nature, culture, tourism, and national identity.
