Rama: Albania–Kosovo National Culture Week kicks off in Tropoja with “Next Generation”

Albania–Kosovo National Culture Week started in Tropoja with the “Next Generation” project. The city became a hub of creativity, dialogue, and cultural diplomacy, hosting over 200 young participants.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a photo album from the event’s opening.
Forums, panels, exhibitions, and performances brought together artists, professionals, and organizations from both countries. The activities built collaboration bridges in cinema, cultural heritage, contemporary arts, music, and creative gastronomy.
The first “Next Generation” edition took place on November 21–22. It creates a shared space for young artists from Albania and Kosovo.
Organizers chose Tropoja for its historic, organic ties between the two cultures. The city provides the perfect setting for a new model of cultural diplomacy based on creativity, collaboration, and youth-driven art.
The two-day program included forums, performances, workshops, exhibitions, and interactive activities. It united film, debate, storytelling, and new collaborations among emerging creators.
