Rama: I requested the inclusion of Kosovo in the partnership mechanism for peace

During the conference with journalists, Prime Minister Rama stated that during his visit to the NATO Summit, he requested the inclusion of Kosovo in the partnership mechanism for peace.
Rama emphasized that all the arguments have been given for the alliance to understand that Kosovo has taken a clear position in relation to its obligations with the EU and NATO.
“We have requested that Kosovo be included in the mechanism of partnership for peace, another stage of relations with NATO, we have given all the relevant arguments and it is good for the entire alliance to understand that despite the non-recognition of Kosovo by some of the countries , this is not a normalcy time. As an extraordinary time, it also required extraordinary acts. Kosovo, despite the fact that Ukraine does not recognize it, has taken a clear position, showing important prudence as a state in relation to its obligations to this whole large family that Kosovo has inextricably linked to its fate”, said Rama.
