Rama Offers Dialogue to Student Protesters, but They Reject His Invitation

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has invited protesting students and university lecturers to talks, saying he and his government are ready to meet anyone willing to engage in dialogue.
In a video posted on social media on October 20, Rama said he remained available for discussions. To underline his offer, officials placed several chairs outside the Prime Minister’s Office in Tirana.
However, the protesters rejected the invitation. They threw the chairs aside and continued chanting slogans against the government, including calls for Rama’s resignation.
“Dialogue. But with whom?” Rama wrote alongside the video, questioning the protesters’ response to his offer.
Meanwhile, students and lecturers continued their protest, rejecting the prime minister’s invitation and maintaining pressure on the government.
