From North Macedonia, where he made his first visit as part of his Balkan tour, Prime Minister Edi Rama said once again that he hopes that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has changed his mind about holding a meeting between them.

In the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski Rama said that he hopes that Kurti “has not forgotten the Canon” regarding the obligations for hospitality.

“I still have hope that Albini has not forgotten Kanun since when someone comes home, the door is opened for Hasmi(the one you are in bad blood) and it is forbidden to let him out until he finishes speaking,” said Rama.

After North Macedonia, Rama will stop in Kosovo, where he will hold a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, while the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti has yet to be confirmed.

We recall that on Wednesday (July 5) Kurti requested the holding of the joint meeting of the governments of the two countries, which was canceled a few weeks ago, stressing that otherwise there will be no more meetings between him and Rama.
