Rama: Whoever pushes Kosovo to war, pushes Albania as well

Prime Minister Edi Rama took part in the promotion of the book of the Kosovar politician Enver Hoxhaj highlighting that whoever pushes Kosovo to war, pushes Albania as well.
He said that the goal should be to keep the war away from the region, because Kosovo has suffered a lot and not the war instigator, the costs of which will not be paid by them.
Rama added that the region has no benefit from the radicalization of Serbia, which is caught between two fires, the West and Russian pressure.
“When I talk about areas of influence, I do not believe that it will turn the Balkans into authoritarian republics.
The aim is not to strike at liberal democracies in the Balkans, but I think our position, both that of Albania and Kosovo, is correct.
But it is worth reflecting on, and in the end there is a part that is very valuable to us that in addition to the war in Ukraine, Russia seeks to shift to the Balkans the second wave of clashes with the West to destabilize the region and between the backyard and the EU.
This would be an intense phase of hybrid warfare. As long as the war in Ukraine lasts, Albania and Kosovo will be targets of the Russian hybrid war.
