Rama’s draft/Kurti: It will be a good model for the Albanian minorities in Serbia

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has commented for the first time on the draft proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the association of Serbian municipalities in the north.
Kurti said that he has not read the draft, but believes that it will be a very good model for the Albanian minorities in Serbia.
“I trust Prime Minister Rama that he believes that that model is good for national minorities, even based on the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, Article 8, Point 1, and the political dispute we are in, I am showing where the address is and which are the requirements for this model. Address: Belgrade, demands for Albanians in Presheva and Medvedev. I have not read it, but I do trust Prime Minister Edi Rama that that model is good and correct. We are in constant contact also because tomorrow we have the joint meeting of the two governments and new agreements and other good news are waiting for us.
Kurti said that Kosova listens to the advice of its partners, but it will have to make its own decisions.
Regarding the tense situation in the north, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced a few days ago that he has prepared a draft regarding the association of Serbian municipalities in Kosova.
Rama said that he has sent the draft to the French President, Emmanuel Macron, and the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and that it has been worked on by top-level American and European experts for a long time. The Prime Minister also added that Kurti was not consulted about this draft.
