Rama’s idea for an international conference, Kurti: We have had it in the past, we already have the Ohrid Agreement

The Prime Minister of Kosova, Albin Kurti has commented on the idea presented by the head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama for holding a high-level international conference for Prishtina and Belgrade.
Kurti said in a statement for the Kosovan media that both countries have held international conferences before and that they already have a basic agreement, the one signed in Ohrid.
According to Kurti what needs to be done is the implementation of this agreement “in a fair and balanced way”.
The idea presented by Prime Minister Rama has been supported by the EU. The President of the European Council, Charles Michel said that an international conference would be productive for easing the tensions in the north of Kosova.
Albanian Prime minister, Rama himself reacted, considering the support of his idea from the EU as good news, while underscoring that the Western Balkans region cannot be taken in hostage, and considered the tensions between Kosova and Serbia “a completely pointless conflict”.
