TIRANA, January 15 – Kosovan President Vjosa Osmani, Speaker of Parliament Dimal Basha, and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti paid tribute at the Reçak Memorial Complex on the 27th anniversary of the Reçak massacre.

After the ceremony, Osmani said that Reçak remains clear evidence of the genocidal regime’s destructive intent against the people of Kosova. She added that the wounds of this massacre continue to speak today.

Osmani recalled that on this 27th anniversary, Kosova once again commemorates all the victims of the horrific massacre. She stressed that Reçak demonstrated the destructive goals of the Serbian genocidal regime. She noted that the pain from Reçak remains fresh even after 27 years.

The President added that she will continue defending the truth about Reçak and other war crimes. She emphasized that this commitment extends not only within Kosova but also on the international stage.
