Security and Stability Key Themes at European Political Community Summit; Vjosa Osmani Represents Kosova

Tirana, October 1 – President Vjosa Osmani represents Kosovo at the European Political Community summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting gathers 45 European leaders, including heads of European Union institutions, to discuss security, cooperation, and stability across the continent.
Before the summit, Osmani will meet King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark in a ceremonial event highlighting the summit’s importance.
During the sessions, leaders will address pressing challenges facing Europe. Discussions will cover hybrid threats and unprecedented provocations from Russia against NATO member states. Osmani is expected to contribute on rising hybrid threats and Russian aggression.
Leaders will explore ways to use the current political momentum to take necessary decisions, including strengthening Europe’s defense readiness. The summit occurs amid escalating tensions between Russia and NATO, following recent airspace violations in Poland, Romania, and Estonia by Russian aircraft and drones.
Osmani will also hold bilateral meetings with participating European leaders. The European Political Community provides a platform for addressing key continental issues. Launched in 2022, it aims to strengthen political and economic ties, offer solutions for shared challenges, and deepen cooperation between European Union and non-EU countries.
