Seminar Highlights Albanian as Europe’s Oldest Language

43rd International Seminar on Albanian Language, Literature, and Culture Opens.
Malaj said this seminar is not just an academic activity. Instead, it is a platform where the Albanian language, the oldest in Europe, is taught.
Moreover, the Director of the International Seminar for Albanian Language, Literature, and Culture, Lindita Sejdiu, stated that the seminar represents the strongest concept for the internationalization of Albanology worldwide.
Additionally, Shezai Rrokaj, co-director of the seminar in Tirana, attended the opening of the 43rd edition.
The International Seminar on Albanian Language, Literature, and Culture was founded in 1974 at the Faculty of Philology (then the Faculty of Philosophy) at the University of Prishtina. Since then, it has organized 42 sessions.
The seminar serves students and researchers working on the Albanian language, literature, and culture, as well as Albanology more broadly.
