Stano: Not much work has been done to implement the agreement on the normalization of Kosova-Serbia relations

While emphasizing the priority and importance of implementing the agreement for the normalization of Kosova-Serbia relations, the EC spokesperson, Peter Stano said during a press conference held this Monday that not much has been done in this direction. According to him, the reason is the attitudes of the two states.

“We have never announced the agendas of any future meeting in the frame of Belgrade-Prishtina dialogue either at the level of the chief negotiators or at a higher level, but I can only say one thing, unfortunately not much work has been done on the implementation because of the attitudes of both parties. So, our main priority is for them to start implementing in good faith what they are committed to,” the EU spokesperson emphasized.

The EC spokesperson was also asked about the meeting between the Serbian ambassador to the US, Marko Djuric with the protagonist of the Banjska terrorist attack, Milan Radojcic, whose photo has been circulated on social media. Stano replied that the EU cannot comment on every meeting of members of the Serbian administration with different people. Meanwhile, Stano repeated that the EU is waiting for the official report on Banjska.
