Tensions in Kosova, Borrel to take separate meetings with Kurti and Vucic in Paris

The situation in the north of Kosova continues to remain tense, as the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, will hold separate meetings in Paris with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic.
The news was announced by the spokesperson of the EU, Peter Stano, through a post on Twitter, where he writes that the Union will continue its efforts to help reduce tensions between the two countries.
Stano wrote that the EU continues its efforts to help reduce tensions and facilitate the progress of the Kosova-Serbia dialogue. Josep Borrell will meet in Paris, in separate meetings, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Aleksandër Vucic.
On Thursday, Kosova leaders, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with the French President, Emmanuel Macron. After the end of the meeting, Osmani and Kurti issued a joint statement, where they stated that they discussed the latest developments in Kosova.
The situation in the north of Kosova has become tense, due to the abandonment of the institutions by the Serbian List. In disagreement with the government’s decisions on license plates, the chairman and 10 MPs of the Serbian List resigned. Regarding these developments, the EU has reacted by calling on the two countries to refrain from any action that could destabilize the situation.
