The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that the Police is the guardian of the sovereignty of the country’s territory.

“September 6 marks a historic, important moment in the history of Kosovo – the day of the establishment of the Kosovo Police”, said President Osmani during the ceremony of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the Police.

Osmani further stated that “Today, the Kosovo Police has become a symbol of unwavering commitment, courage and professionalism to serve all citizens, without distinction. They are guardians of our security, of protecting the sovereignty of the Republic”.

According to President Osmani, the men and women of the Kosovo Police are always ready to respond to any situation.

“The men and women of the Kosovo Police are always ready to respond to any situation, to offer their help and to protect the law and order, so a heartfelt thank you to each of them! Your commitment, dedication and professionalism are hope and guarantee for the citizens of Kosovo for a peaceful and safe environment! Congratulations on the foundation day of the Kosovo Police!”, said President Osmani.
