The Assembly of Kosovo is holding a solemn session today for the 25th anniversary of the Epopee of the Liberation Army of Kosovo. Along with President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti, Rifat Jashari also entered the hall of the Assembly of Kosovo, who was greeted with applause by the deputies.

In her speech, the President of the Republic of Kosovo said that every beginning of March, the Albanians’ attention turns to the historical events that have marked a decisive turning point for the nation and are firmly embedded in the memory of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
“These events are the most important part of our historical heritage on which we base our every effort to consolidate our state for which entire generations have sacrificed their lives,” Osmani said.

She further added that the events of March 5, 6, 7, 1998, constitute not only our memory of the newest history of Kosovo, but also one of the strongest pillars on which our new state, the Republic of Kosovo, was built.
