The Berlin process gathers today the leaders of the Western Balkans

The “Berlin Process”, which gathers the heads of the Western Balkans at the invitation of Chancellor Olaf Scholz is being held today. Chancellor Scholz will open the summit as host at 09:15.
The focus of this summit will be on the energy crisis and on the alternative ways that must be found to ensure this product. The leaders of the region will sign 3 agreements that provide for free movement with identity cards, recognition of university degrees and recognition of qualifications for three professions: doctors, dentists and architects. The meeting is expected to be attended by the 6 heads of the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
At the end of this whole meeting there will be a joint press conference. It will be Chancellor Olaf Sholz, President Von Der Leyen and Prime Minister Edi Rama because the next session of the Berlin Process will be held in Albania and this is the reason why Rama has been chosen to be at this conference.
