The days of the National Cultural Week kick off

The National Cultural Week marks the end of the International Cultural Weeks’ program. In its second edition, this event has brought hundreds of activities and artists from across the globe to Albania throughout the year.

The webpage of the Cultural Weeks declares, “The National Cultural Week arrives with a program embodying the Albanian spirit through song, dance, and creativity. Get ready for days filled with emotions and unforgettable events.”

Among this week’s program highlights is the artistic event titled ‘Journey of the Flag,’ aiming to evoke the joy and pride of the holidays. The Wind Orchestra ‘Fanfara Tirana’ and several artistic groups will perform at the summer amphitheater near the University of Arts on November 22.

Tonight, the ‘Deçani’ Song and Dance Ensemble will be performing at the ‘Petro Marko’ Theater in Vlora.

On November 24th, the Municipality of Gjilan will host an award ceremony honoring the writer Ismail Kadare. Additionally, on the same day, singer Shpat Deda will hold a concert at the Orthodox Cathedral.

The schedule for these festive days comprises exhibitions, film screenings, a concert at TKOB, an open lecture about the Albanian language at the ‘Sotir Kolea’ Center, and the book promotion of ‘Encyclopedia Imaginary-Postroman’ by former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Bajram Kosumi, among many other activities continuing until November 30th.
