The Ministry of Culture is preparing the file for the Epos of Kreshniks, so that it too can be a world cultural heritage under the protection of UNESCO.

“The Epos of Kreshniks with Lute” is the next ambition of all the groups that are supporting us and of the Ministry of Culture itself. It is definitely a big, very voluminous job, as documentation, but also the way of preparing the file”, said the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti during a television interview.

She added that the “Kcimi i Tropoja”(Dance of Tropoja( has already been prepared and the file has been added to the waiting list to be reviewed.

The director of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage Registration has stated that there is already a register of intangible cultural heritage, in which 90 assets are registered, and it is hoped that UNESCO will register as many of them as possible.
