The European Parliament considers a terrorist attack, the September 24 attack in Banjska

The European Parliament approved on Thursday (October 19) the resolution for the condemnation of the attack of September 24 in Banjska of Zveçan, north of Kosova on, where police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku, already a martyr for Kosova, was murdered.
The draft resolution was proposed by the political group of social democrats and demands the sanctioning of Serbia and the extradition of the former vice-president of the Serbian List Party of Kosova, Milan Radoicic.
The resolution qualifies as a terrorist attack and demands responsibility from Serbia if Belgrade’s direct connection to this event is proven.
“The European Parliament adopted the resolution on the latest developments in the Serbia-Kosova dialogue. We need a full investigation of the attack in Banjska and Justice done. Belgrade and Prishtina should also return to the peaceful and constructive dialogue mediated by the EU,” stated the member of the European Parliament, Vladimir Bilicik.
The attack in the village of Banjska has been condemned by Albania and the international community, following the clash of nearly 30 armed persons with the Kosova Police ended with several victims.
A huge amount of military weaponry was also found in the village and in some of the municipalities of Serbian majority in the farthest north of the country.
