The exhibition “Gjëndje” of Fatmir Tufina presents 33 paintings for the first time in the FAB gallery

The exhibition “Gjëndje” presents 33 paintings. The personal exhibition of the painter Fatmir Tufina was opened these days of December at the FAB gallery, with painting works that have been realized over the last two years. In his activity as a painter, Fatmir Tufina has participated in various exhibitions, but these days of December the “Gjëndje” exhibition is the last one for this year at the FAB gallery.

The painter Fatmir Tufina shows that the title “Gjëndje” has to do with what we find ourselves in everyday life. “There are 33 works, which were realized in the time frame of the last two years and with the exception of two works, the others are presented for the first time. The title of the exhibition took me a while, but in the end I decided on “Gjëndje”, which seemed more suitable and acceptable to the public as well.

The title is about the emotional state in which not only I as the author, but all of us are in our daily life”, says the painter. Fatmir Tufina, one of the painters of the group “Muri”, after the closing of the third edition of the performance of this group, continues to confess himself in a personal exhibition. The painter Violeta Kongo, who opened an exhibition together with Fatmir Tufina a few years ago, says that this time is his artistic journey, which he named “Gjëndje”. “Armed with a high artistic sensibility, Tufina navigates the spaces of colors and forms, immerses himself in the hopes and courages of the brush and pencil when he urges them to traverse long, difficult, unexpected artistic paths, from one canvas to another. Tufina is subject to her own inspiration and strong desire to discover traditional motifs and to deify them, wearing a very special modern spirit”, she says about the exhibition. Violeta Kongo further adds that beautifully arranged and elegant, these paintings tear you up with their artistic air and light. “The exhibition is the personal celebration of the painter, but it is also the pleasure of friends and those who enjoy visual art. Don’t miss this solemnity for the eyes and the soul”, says Kongo.
