With the permission of the Special Court, the former President of Kosova, Hashim Thaçi is in Kosova to visit his family. The news has been confirmed by the Kosova Specialized Chambers for KosovaPress.

His visit is being monitored by EULEX and the Kosova Police. This is his first visit to Kosova since he was arrested in November 2020.

Hashim Thaçi is in custody together with Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selim and Jakup Krasniqi, by the decision of The Hague Court, charged with war crimes, during the time when they were leaders of the KLA.
