The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Sveçla, for RTSH-24: We will face up any threat from Serbia with our allies

The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, in an interview for RTSH-24, after confirming that there are no more barricades in the North of Kosovo, said that the responsibility for the created situation rests on Serbia.
According to him, most of the high Serbian officials were high officials even when Serbia was in Kosovo.
“They nurture ties with Russia. Of course, Serbia and its policy in the region depends on Russia. Serbia continues to have economic, political and military relations with Russia and Belarus. Russia is trying to make the most of the created situation. Russia’s influence in Serbia is very great”, Svečla emphasized.
Sveçla said that the government of Kosovo, but also Kosovo itself, is clear about Serbia’s positions in the region.
“Kosovo’s position is clear. We are an independent and sovereign state. We are recognized by most democratic states. We have a satisfactory development, despite international developments. Whatever kind of threat comes our way, we will face it with our allies. We have cooperation with NATO. We have KFOR troops. Kosovo is safe against any Serbian incursion. We are careful, but not afraid. We are working on the political plan to affirm Kosovo and strengthen ties with our friends”, Sveçla emphasized during the interview for RTSH-24.
