The TKOB program for 2023 is quite diverse. In an interview given to RTSH, director Abigela Voshtina says that on stage, apart from the works of international virtuosos, a special space has been dedicated to Albanian compositions.

In commemoration of the work of the great master of classical music, Giuseppe Verdi, on the occasion of the 210th anniversary of the composer’s death, TKOB will join other theaters around the globe in declaring 2023 as the “Verdian Year”.

According to director Abigela Voshtina, one of the innovations of this year is the creation of a special educational program for children.

A rich archive of TKOB is also created by the works of prominent Albanian authors, but to enable their preservation, Director Voshtina says that they need to be digitized, a task which will have a special attention from her side.

The importance of mastering skills for Opera artists, Ballet orchestra, and especially future artists, the director thought of organizing the Masterclass program. Also, successful and beloved names of the world public, performers in this theater, return for this program.
