The premiere enthomusical “Zare”has been staged for two nights in the theater of Opera and Ballet, which is joined by the well-known singer Ilir Shaqiri. 
Loyal for decades, to the scenes in Albania, the artist Ilir Shaqiri reunited last evening with the National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances, with the premiere ethnomusical “Zare”.
With the musical pieces selected by Edi Xhani and the choreography of Andrea Kokeri brought to the stage of the Opera, the singer sees this performance as an attempt to point out our sole values.
Engaged in music, literature and television, he confesses that over time he has become even more selective when it comes to joining cultural activities, but art is already an inseparable part of him.
Shaqiri appreciates the cultural events that bring together artists from Albania and Kosovo on one stage.The artist confesses that the unity between the two countries must be solid in other aspects, even political ones.
Under the artistic direction of Sokol Marsi, “Zare” brought to the stage three generations. In addition to the artists of the “Opera” and Ensemble, young people from the musical band, ballerinas from the ballet school and the IDAA ballet group also joined the show. The premiere will be shown tonight as well.
