Deda, a prominent figure in Albanian comedy, was born on July 27, 1950, in Shkodër, Albania. Known for his remarkable wit and comedic talents, he earned a reputation as one of the most celebrated humorists in modern Albanian entertainment.

Deda received his education in Shkodër and later attended the Construction Polytechnic in Tirana. While he initially pursued high school studies in language and literature, health reasons prevented him from completing this course.

Zef Deda’s career flourished at the Migjeni Theater in Shkodra, where he dedicated over 40 years showcasing his exceptional comedic prowess. From a young age, he exhibited remarkable versatility, skillfully embodying a wide array of comedic characters. His ability to transform and embody numerous artistic personas earned him widespread admiration, particularly among the people of Shkodra and the Albanian public at large.
