The “Skampis 2025” Painters’ Colony Brings Elbasan to the Center of Art

Elbasan welcomes the “Skampis 2025” Painters’ Colony this year as well. The event gathers well-known artists from across Albania. They use their brushes to reflect the city’s atmosphere, history, and spirit.

The theme is “Touristic Elbasan through the Trace of the Brush.” The colony aims to promote Elbasan as a cultural and artistic destination. It highlights the city’s natural beauty, historical monuments, and urban character.

This edition includes painters Agron Polovina, Alion Cano, Buron Kaceli, Dashnor Kulolli, Emirjona Stasi Nako, Edi Kojani, Elmal Baboci, Fatmir Dardha, Gazmend Leka, Gazmend Kafa, Helidon Haliti, Sadik Kasa, Nasuf Myftari, Nikolin Ivani, Kudret Durollari, Romeo Kallco, Sefedin Stafa, Vanjgo Vasili, Zaim Elezi, and Kristjan Zara.

The artists are working in different parts of the city. They choose places where Elbasan shows its identity — from the castle and traditional alleys to the natural landscapes around it.

The closing exhibition will take place tonight in the lobby of the “Skampa” Theatre. The public will be able to see all the works created during the colony days.

The “Skampis 2025” Painters’ Colony shows the commitment of the Municipality of Elbasan. It supports art, culture, and the promotion of the city’s identity. It also strengthens Elbasan’s position as an important cultural center in Albania.
