The UN Security Council is holding a session on Kosova today

The UN Security Council is holding a session on Kosova this Monday (April 22).

In the session that starts at 16:00, the President of Kosova Vjosa Osmani and the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will be present.

At the center of the discussion in today’s session of the Security Council will be the progress of Kosova, the implementation of reforms, human rights, democracy and the rule of law, etc.

Korovar President Osmani announced that she will lay emphasis to the justice for the crimes committed by Serbia in Kosova.

“At the session of the UNSC, President Osmani is expected to speak about progress, the implementation of reforms, human rights, democracy, the rule of law and other important areas for Kosova. The President will also speak about the need for justice for the crimes committed by Serbia in Kosova,” the announcement of the Kosova Presidential Office states.

During her visit to the US, Osmani will meet with some of the permanent representatives of friendly countries in the United Nations.

The Serbian president will also be present at today’s meeting of the Security Council. Vucic has stated that Serbia will continue its efforts, despite the “humiliation” that has been done to it so far.
