The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, in a meeting held on Tuesday (April 25) in New York with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosova, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz  focused on the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue.  Greenfield considered the agreement between the two countries to be historic and legally binding, as he called for its swift implementation.

The spokesperson of the American mission to the United Nations, Nate Evans further informed that, during the meeting between Ambassador Greenfield and Gërvalla, the stable partnership between the United States and Kosova and their joint commitment to the advancement of stability and prosperity in Western Balkans were discussed. 

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield reiterated that the United States will remain actively engaged in supporting Kosova and Serbia as they implement their commitments in pursuit of a predictable and peaceful relationship.
