Kosovo’s judo team delivered a strong performance at the European Open. The team returned from Sofia with three bronze medals. Competition was tougher than ever.

First, Erza Muminoviq won bronze in the up to 48 kg category. Then, Fatjona Kasapi added another bronze in 52 kg. Flaka Loxha secured the third bronze in 57 kg.

Meanwhile, other athletes achieved solid results. Laurina Gashi (52 kg), Dardan Cena (73 kg), and Shpati Zekaj (100 kg) finished fifth. Enise Zijade (57 kg) placed seventh.

Although they missed the podium, Sidorela and Anesi recorded important wins. Their performances showed strong potential for the future.

Overall, the Sofia event served as an excellent test. It also acted as ideal preparation for the Paris Grand Slam next week. There, Kosovo’s judokas will aim for more major international results.
