The pyramid in the capital of Albania will be the largest multifunctional center for young people, focused mainly on digital education, but also on art and culture.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has published photos from the ongoing works in the most iconic building of the city, which after the transformation is intended to be visited by about 5 thousand young people a day.
Rama says that the pyramid, which is taking the form conceived by the famous Dutch architect, Winy Maas, will soon become the largest digital center in the Balkans.
After the completion of this project with funding from the government, Tirana Municipality and the American Development Fund, this center will have 18 halls, where young people can study for different computer programs and 14 other classes that have been conceived in nature.
According to the project, the Pyramid is divided into 3 areas where one part will be for Tumo (a new kind of educational experience at the intersection of technology and design) and the classes that will take place inside, one part will be business systems and IT entrepreneurs where many of the Startups will practice and test products .
The innovation is the recycling of all the material left in the pyramid, which will be used to create the new building, while the sliding exterior will be stepped as a student lounge.
