TKOB Opens Artistic Year with Warm Sounds of “Claviotrio”

“Claviotrio” opened the chamber music season last night at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet (TKOB). The trio brought calm and warm sounds with piano, clarinet, and viola.
Paola Budani on piano, Rodolf Baha on clarinet, and Sonila Baha on viola performed eight pieces. The program included works by Max Bruch, the world premiere of Thomas Simaku’s “Moj e bukura more”, and Jean Françaix’s Tio for clarinet, viola, and piano.
The three Albanian artists have built careers abroad. However, they reunited for this special evening in the TKOB concert hall.
After a brief winter break, TKOB opens the artistic year with a full calendar. The program combines chamber music, symphonic concerts, ballet, opera, and traditional performances. It offers a journey between classical music and contemporary experiences.
Next, “Claviotrio” will perform pieces by Dvořák and Mendelssohn. The January program also includes:
- January 17 — Opera & Ballet Night
- January 19 — Ku ka si Tirona, a traditional music concert
- January 25 — Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, an absolute premiere
TKOB promises an extraordinary season blending tradition and modernity.
