KFOR mission commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, received France’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Rene Troccaz, at KFOR HQ in Prishtina. Troccaz was accompanied by the French ambassador to Kosova, Olivier Guerot.

According to KFOR, General Barduani emphasized the mission’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and calm environment for all communities in Kosova. They exchanged views on current regional developments.

During the meeting, General Barduani thanked Troccaz for France’s contribution to KFOR and to peace and stability in the region.

Meanwhile, Troccaz wrote on X that the meeting with General Barduani was very useful. He added, “KFOR is a key structure for Kosova’s stability. France supports it”.
