U.S. Suspends Strategic Dialogue with Kosova over Government Actions

The United States suspended the planned strategic dialogue with Kosova for an indefinite period. The U.S. Embassy in Prishtina explained that the decision came because of concerns with the actions of the caretaker government.
The Embassy underlined that Washington remains committed to advancing common interests with Kosova. It emphasized that relations between the two sides aim at strengthening peace and stability as a foundation for mutual economic prosperity.
However, the Embassy noted that recent actions and statements by caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti created challenges for the progress achieved over many years.
