UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy Visits Kosovo to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

The United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, is currently undertaking an official visit to Kosovo as part of a broader tour of the Western Balkans. The visit aims to enhance cooperation in combating irregular migration and serious organized crime.
During his stay in Pristina, Foreign Secretary Lammy met with Kosovo’s Acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and members of his cabinet to discuss regional security challenges and geopolitical developments in Europe. Prime Minister Kurti underscored the importance of justice for the terrorist attack in Banjska and reiterated Kosovo’s call for the extradition of Milan Radoičić.
Foreign Secretary Lammy is also scheduled to meet with President Vjosa Osmani and British peacekeeping troops serving in Kosovo under the NATO mission. Following his engagements in Kosovo, he will travel to Serbia, where he is expected to sign a new bilateral agreement focused on combating criminal networks involved in illegal migration and border security.
Later this year, the United Kingdom will host the Western Balkans Summit within the framework of the Berlin Process in London. The summit will aim to promote regional stability, security, and economic cooperation.
