Odesa, Ukraine hosts the Ukraine–Southeast Europe Summit today, with Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali representing Albania.

The summit focuses on Russia’s ongoing military aggression against Kyiv, Ukraine’s sovereignty, and ending the three-year war. Presidents, prime ministers, and parliamentary speakers from Southeast European countries, along with senior Ukrainian officials, are attending.

This marks the third summit of its kind. The first took place in Athens in August 2023, and the second followed in Tirana on February 28, 2024.

Those gatherings delivered strong messages: unwavering support for Ukraine, condemnation of Russian aggression, and a united call to the international community to boost assistance for Kyiv’s freedom, independence, and territorial integrity.

Two weeks ago, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited Prime Minister Edi Rama to today’s summit during a phone call.
