The UN Security Council meets today in New York. Kosovo will be one of the main topics of discussion.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, has traveled to New York. She will take part in the UN Security Council session.

The session will review the latest report by UN Secretary-General António Guterres on developments in Kosovo. Gërvalla will present the work and progress of Kosovo’s institutions.

According to the UN, this will be the Council’s second briefing of the year on Kosovo. Deputy UN Special Representative Milbert Dongjoon Shin is expected to deliver the main briefing.
