University of Arts signs joint projects with Accademia di Belle Arti–Catanzaro

The Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro (Italy) and the University of Arts in Tirana signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement supports the internationalization of studies and the performing arts project “PERFORMING,” funded by PNRR.
The rector, Prof. Dr. Erald Bakalli, led the delegation of the University of Arts. The delegation held high-level meetings with institutional representatives in Lamezia Terme, including ABA Catanzaro president Prof. Stefania Mancuso and the president of the International Cultural Foundation.
The University of Arts announced that, during the launch of the “Culture Med Hub” network under the motto “Art, Science and Creativity for the Mediterranean,” the ICF presented its vision. The foundation aims to develop a cycle of cultural and scientific events with an international profile. These activities will strengthen Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and promote a Mediterranean region capable of generating new forms of knowledge, dialogue, and shared growth, where tradition meets new visions to shape a common language of beauty.
During the visit, the two artistic institutions, UART and ABA Catanzaro, signed their agreements. A joint Memorandum of Understanding was also signed with ICF. The University of Lebanon and Salah Boubnider Constantine 3 University (Algeria) also signed the document.
