“100 years with Albania” is the newest book on the market by diplomat Llesh Kola. The author has used documents from the American State Department, which date back to 1880. It is the first time that the Albanian reader knows the relations between the two countries through real facts.
Real facts of relations between Albania and the United States of America have been brought to the Albanian reader by diplomat Llesh Kola. He recently published the book “100 YEARS WITH ALBANIA”, which was promoted in his hometown, Lezha.
“I titled it “100 years with Albania” unilaterally, because they (the Americans) have been with us for 100 years, while we have not,” said Kola.
Those present at the promotion expressed appreciation for the book by the diplomat Llesh Kola, who researched documents from the years 1880-1980 in the archive of the American State Department.

“With a research work of several years, he has managed to present to the public the 100-year chronology”, said the writer Ernest Marku in the press release for Kola’s book.

 “100 years with Albania” points out that the Americans did not forget our country even after the Second World War when diplomatic relations were cut off. We remind you that the relationship was re-established again on March 15, 1991.
