Vasil Tole: The establishment of the Tirana Philharmonic is an important event

The establishment of the Tirana Philharmonic is an important event in cultural life. The poster for the creation of the Tirana Philharmonic has been published, where it is announced for auditions for instrumentalists. Academician Vasil Tole, vice president of the Academy of Sciences, speaks about the importance of the Tirana Philharmonic. Known and appreciated for his activity in the field of music, the composer Vasil Tole has published the poster of the Tirana Philharmonic, affirming that its creation is important.
“If there is an event that attracts you with its novelty and surprise, it is this poster that talks about the soon creation of the Tirana Philharmonic”, says academician Vasil Tole. In his reaction, academician Vasil Tole states that the philharmonic orchestras, were first created in the capitals of Europe as a society of friends who loved music. Until today Tirana, the capital of Albania has not had a Philharmonic of its own, for many reasons. In Korça, in 1924, the conductor and composer Thoma Nasi, who came from America, created for the first time a philharmonic orchestra as part of the association of “Fine Arts,”says academician Tole.
The Tirana Philharmonic, supported by the Municipality of Tirana, is a continuation of the investment in the field of art. Academic Vasil Tole further adds that today our country does not have a philharmonic orchestra.
“The initiative to create the Tirana Philharmonic or Symphony Orchestra is very good news, extremely good, more than good, a clear sign that Tirana as a city and capital is moving to another stage of its growth as a capital European culture of our country and of all Albanians. Therefore, let us welcome the Philharmonic, first by encouraging young instrumentalists to compete and become part of it, because this way the first inaugural concert will be very close “, says Tole. The registration of candidates for the Philharmonic in the poster is dated February 2, while in the audition must be instrumentalists from 18 to 35 years old.
