“Zhuliana Jorganxhi is probably the purest memory of my childhood, of those songs, poems and verses. Thank you for inspiring us in a very, very difficult time, when not only the word had to be chosen to inspire, but when the word had to be chosen not to be censored, to survive and to give courage in difficult times, in transition times. I am very happy that you have returned to Tirana on this 100th anniversary and to honor with this medal as one of the most inspiring figures of these 100 years, ” said Veliaj.
Zhuliana Jorganxhi is one of the most distinguished and vocal names of our national art and culture of the century we left behind, but also of this beginning of the century. Master of the word engraved in the verse, powerful hurricane of symbolism and metaphor in the Albanian song, the lyricist and the inspirer who with her messages aroused the enthusiasm of the Albanians wherever they are.
