Von der Leyen spoke with Biden about the Kosova-Serbia dialogue: There is a good plan on the table

The dialogue between Kosova and Serbia has also been a topic of discussion in the meeting between US President Joe Biden and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, which took place in Washington.
It was the European official herself who told reporters after the meeting with the US president that the European Union and the United States support the dialogue between the two countries.
She admitted that it is not easy, but there are still many issues that need to be resolved.
Von der Leyen: The dialogue has our support
“We touched on the topic (of the dialogue) briefly. It is very important that the Serbia-Kosova dialogue continues. It’s not easy. There are still many issues to be resolved, but it is moving in the right direction, the dialogue has full support from both our sides,” she said.
On Saturday, March 18, there will be another high-level dialogue meeting between Kosova and Serbia with the participation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksander Vucic in Ohrid, where the EU plan for the dialogue and the annex for its implementation are expected to be discussed.
The President of the European Commission, alluding to the EU’s plan for the normalization of relations between the two countries, said that it is a good plan, while she wished that Kosova and Serbia would be constructive parties.
Von der Leyen: There is a good plan on the table
“There is a good plan on the table. There is a guide how to get there. We hope that both will be very constructive,” Von der Leyen said.
The meeting between Biden and Von der Leyen was used to discuss security issues, with a special focus on Russian aggression in Ukraine.
