TIRANA, June 15 – The Central Election Commission said on Saturday evening that it has completed the verification and counting process in all 38 municipalities of Kosova, covering a total of 2,498 polling stations.

The process continues at the Counting and Results Centre, where votes from the diaspora sent by post, conditional votes and votes from persons with special needs still need to be counted.

According to the commission, counting of postal votes began on Friday, with around 36 percent processed so far.

Based on preliminary results, the Self-Determination Movement leads with 44.47 percent or 323,287 votes, corresponding to 50 seats. The Democratic Party of Kosova follows with 20.59 percent or 149,646 votes, securing 23 seats.

The Democratic League of Kosova ranks third with 17.27 percent or 125,512 votes, gaining 19 seats. The Alliance for the Future of Kosova is fourth with 7 percent or 50,889 votes, equal to 8 seats.
