WB countries member of the EESC, Rama: Example of real interaction

Prime Minister Edi Rama requested during the meeting of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) for the New Growth Plan for the Western Balkans (WB) a real interaction between the EU and the WB.
Rama thanked the Committee and expressed his happiness that the representatives of the countries of the Western Balkans will be members of this committee.
In his speech at this meeting, Prime Minister Rama said that, “it is really good, it is very good and I hope that this will serve as an example of courage and a strategic understanding and a real interaction between the EU and the Western Balkans”.
“I strongly hope that this serves the more bureaucratic Brussels to move forward more boldly and to somehow copy what this Committee is doing by including us as active members. Just to make it clear, when it comes to voting, our members do not vote. But it’s okay. The real part, the real work, the real communication however happens. This is what we want to see in the European Parliament, this is what we want to see in the EC, this is what we want to see in all the corridors of this extraordinary industrial complex of bureaucracy. Let’s hope that this will happen,” said Rama.
