Wesley Clark to Testify Today in The Hague

TIRANA, November 17 – Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, General Wesley Clark, will testify today before the Kosova Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

Clark was originally scheduled for November 18, but his testimony has been moved to today, starting at 12:00. He will be the final defense witness for former President Hashim Thaçi.

His testimony is expected to continue until Wednesday, after which the court will hold a hearing on the case’s progress. The session scheduled for November 21 has been canceled.

The defense began presenting evidence on September 15, starting with former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James Rubin. Subsequent witnesses included Paul Williams, former legal adviser to the Albanian delegation in Rambouillet, John Stewart Duncan, Clark’s former NATO political adviser, and James Peter Covey, former UN representative to Kosova, Bernard Kouchner.

The Chambers have confirmed that the defense phase concluded on November 14. Final submissions, including statements on the alleged crimes’ impact on victims, are due by December 22, 2025.
