Zoran Zaev hands over the task, the good news he has for Albania

The outgoing Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, has resigned and congratulated the newly elected President Dimitar Kovacevski on his victory in the intra-party elections.

He stated that in the talks so far with the new Prime Minister of Bulgaria, it was emphasized that the disputes between Skopje and Sofia should be concluded within 6 months.

“What we have talked about with the new Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Kiril Petkov, is that this should be resolved no later than 6 months. “We agreed that we should form working groups for energy, infrastructure, economy, culture, health, and everything that is important to be able to create an environment to overcome these issues,” said Zaev.

We emphasize that this is good news for Albania as well, as so far it is the Bulgarian veto for Skopje that has blocked Tirana, regarding the opening of negotiations.
