Zyliha Miloti, an iconic figure of Albanian comedy, celebrates her 80th birthday today.

Born and raised in Shkodra, Miloti has given the Albanian stage hundreds of roles in theatre and film. Her work has accompanied generations of art lovers. She has brought sharp humor and endless laughter.

Zyliha Miloti has received the title “Grand Master” and many other honors. She earned these awards for her valuable contribution to art and culture in Shkodra and beyond.

On the occasion of her 80th birthday, Shkodra Mayor Benet Beci sent his congratulations.

“At the age of 14, she stepped onto the stage for the first time. Sixty-six years later, she still delivers unmatched humor. Through characters that made us laugh and reflect, and lines passed from one generation to another, Zyliha Miloti has been and remains one of the pillars of Albanian comedy,” Beci said.

Zyliha Miloti is honored not only as an outstanding artist, but also as a figure who has left a deep mark on Shkodra’s tradition of parody and on Albanian art.
