The International Chamber Music Festival “Chamber Fest Durrës” brings classical music concerts in the Saint Lucia Cathedral in the evenings, which are followed with interest by art lovers from Durrës and visitors to the coastal city. Instrumentalists from Albania, Italy, Austria, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic and France participate in this festival.

Today, the organizers have planned beautiful music by Mozart, Schumann and Kovacs, with the String Quartet and Genti Dollani on the clarinet.

The first concert was that of the Torino Quartet that interpreted the music of Ezio Bosso, together with the screening of the movie “The Lodger”. Then the festival continued with the string trio “Kontur” with artists from Germany as well as the concert of “Albania Youth Chamber Ensemble” with artists from Austria and Albania.

The festival will continue the following evenings with artists from Albania and France, while on July 23 the last concert is with professor instrumentalists of the Western Balkans Youth Orchestra with artists from Germany, Albania, Spain and the Czech Republic.

This festival is another important cultural activity that is taking place during this tourist season in Durrës.
