The second edition of the International Cultural Week brought to Tirana, but also to many of the country’s cities, an extraordinary atmosphere. The cultural weeks brought exchange and recognition between the participants as well as a festive atmosphere created during the months of April-November 2023.

During the second edition, Albania hosted 18 countries and international organizations with their cultures, traditions and experiences.
512 foreign artists in 288 activities enlivened the artistic and cultural life, not only in Tirana, but also in Shkodër, Korçë, Vlorë, etc.

International Cultural Weeks (ICW) was an initiative of the Ministry of Culture to bring to Albania the sounds, images, aromas and tastes of different countries of the world.

Conceived as an international cultural parade, extending throughout the year, the International Cultural Week was the continuation, inclusion and unification under one brand of a several-year tradition of organizing weeks dedicated to cultural cooperation.

In the first edition, in 2022, the International Cultural Weeks engaged over 700 artists.
