TIRANA, November 29 – President Bajram Begaj congratulated Albanians on the 81st anniversary of Liberation Day. He highlighted the importance of freedom and the sacrifice of martyrs.

“Happy Liberation Day, Albania! Yesterday, today, and always, we remain loyal to the same values. Today we bow with respect to the sacrifice of our people and the martyrs of World War II. They gave their lives for freedom and the country’s liberation. Their courage, resilience, and blood are the foundations of our freedom. Our gratitude is not only historical memory but a daily duty to protect freedom, human dignity, and peace,” said President Begaj.

On the 81st anniversary of victory over the fascist and Nazi occupiers, the President paid tribute at the “Mother Albania” monument. He placed a wreath to honor those who fell for the liberation of the country.
