60th edition of Art Biennale in Venice/ Albania represented by Iva Lulashi with “Love as a Glass of Water”

This weekend marks one of the most important events in the global art scene, the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale. This massive art exhibition, featuring artists from around the world, takes place once every two years. The artistic director for this year is the Brazilian Adriano Pedrosa, who will curate the central exhibition, titled “Foreigners Everywhere.”
Although the official opening date is set for April 20th (April 20th-November 20th, 2024), April 17th, 18th, and 19th will be considered a “preview” of the Biennale.
Albania is represented in the 60th edition of the International Art Biennale in Venice by the artist Iva Lulashi.
Her project is titled “Love as a Glass of Water” and is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.
With a career spanning Albania and Italy, Iva Lulashi is an artist who explores daring terrains. Such is her touch in the Albanian pavilion, curated by the Italian critic Antonio Grulli. Through her art, Iva Lulashi invites us to see love and instinct as a universal language, the primary force connecting humanity to the world.
